Q. Who is eligible to play?
A. FJGA participants must be a resident of, or attend school in, Genesee
County.
Q. What is the age limit?
A. FJGA participants must be between the ages of 8 and 18 as of our first
day of play, June 16, 2008.
Q. How do I enroll in Flint Junior Golf?
A. Entries must be submitted to the Web site.
Q. What is the entry deadline?
A. Web registration will begin on April 14, 2008 and will end on May 16,
2008. There is a limit on the number of players we can accept (1000
players each in 5- and 9-hole and 400 in 18-hole). Entries will be accepted
on
a first-come, first-served basis until our limits are met, or until
our deadline,
whichever comes first.
Q. What if I don't have a computer?
A. Anyone who does not have access to the Internet, may get help at
the Flint Public Library (810-233-7111) or any of its 3 branches.
Internet access is
also available at the Genesee District
Library (810-732-0110) or
any of its 18 branches.

Q. What are the divisions and fees?
A. These are the 3 divisions and their fees:

Q. What are the tee times? Where do I find them?
A. Starting times begin as early as 7 a.m. They go until approximately
1 p.m. for the 5- and 9-hole groups and approximately 9 a.m.
for the 18-hole groups. Starting times are based on ability and will
be printed
in The
Flint
Journal. No special requests for tee times or groups will be
taken.
Q. Is any instruction provided?
A. Pre-season clinics will be held.
Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Every golfer must have their own equipment.
Q. Do I have to play every
week?
A. Players can miss weeks for camp, etc. but must play at least
three times in order to play in the tournament.
